RSPCA Australia is an Australian organisation established in 1981 to promote animal welfare.

I chose to challenge myself and develop the UI/UX design for an animal welfare adoption app. The brief I set out to achieve was to create a simple to use, ‘Tinder’ inspired app to allow people in the community to see animals which are in need of adoption. The key to this design piece was to trigger an emotional response with the user, through the use of soft friendly blue tones, rounded font styles and high resolution images of the animals in question. The name, age, breed, and temperament were added to each ‘pet profile’, to better assist the user in making their decision of which animal would best suit their home and lifestyle. Through this app design, the pets are able to be seen in a wide public forum in an easy to use app.

This design will allow more people to see more pets more often and likely leading to more successful adoptions in the future.
